4,000-Year-Old Art Gallery Found in Siberia | Ancient Origins

Vivid red and orange paintings by Bronze Age artists go on show for the first time. There are ancient images of humans, a bull, a trees and birds in 20-plus ‘perfectly preserved’ petroglyphs in a remote spot in TransBaikal region. Most intriguing in the newly revealed rock art is a figurine and nearby a human-like image is a circle, seemingly a sign of the sun.

Let them call themselves shamans – Shamanic Reiki Blog – Jonathan Weekes

It’s time to play devil’s advocate on the arguments that as to why people cannot or should not use the term “shaman” to describe themselves.

The main criticism I personly have with those who say “you should not call yourself a shaman” is the lack of merit on the ability to actually heal, divine or connect/awareness with the spirit that they are asked to do so on behalf of the client, which after all is the important part of working as a shaman.
